Hey everyone! How goes the Christmas hustle and bustle? I know we’re starting to get a little crazy around here. The tree has been up for a couple of weeks and Charming, at 16 months, just loves it. He kneels in front of the tree and says “Wow!” over and over. Sometimes he points and says “Wow”. Although, I’m starting to think he might believe the tree is called “Wow”. So stinkin’ cute. And he hasn’t touched one single thing on the tree! I was soooooo scared!
Today I’m posting a picture of a Christmas canvas I made a few years ago. I was long on time and short on funds, having been in a car crash and off work for a period of time. But I still had a craft room, some old canvas, stickers, and paint. I spent a day or so plugging away and came up with this multi-medium picture.
I used some craft paint, glue, glitter, as well as some beads and stickers to create this piece of “art”. I have fond memories of plugging away while watching TV, and leaving my craft stuff all over the place. What a luxury! (No babies back then.) It actually got damaged during our latest move but I patched it back up again. I’m not remotely artistic so I was pretty proud of the end result and it’s once again hanging in the foyer as part of our Christmas decor.
And because I’m still in love with all things aqua and pink, the colors still work after three long years.
I’ll be linking this old friend up to these great parties this week….
