No-Sew Halloween Pillows…..Crazy Easy!

Happy weekend!  I’m still on vacation and the boys were at daycare yesterday which has given me some time this week to finish off a few things around the house.  Including my front porch rockers (that post coming soon) and some Halloween projects that I’ve been obsessing over since all the goodies hit the store last month.

I really wanted to have some inexpensive cushions on the rockers but I couldn’t find anything I liked at for what I wanted to spend.  But when I was at Home Sense yesterday I saw these adorable little kitchen towels.

Cute, right?  I snatched them right up and thought I would go home and break out the sewing machine again (ugh!) to make them into pillows.  But it’s my vacation and I’m lazy.  So I pulled out the glue gun instead. Hey, if it doesn’t hold, I can always bust out the sewing machine then, no?
So this was crazy easy…..I folded the towels in half and ironed them to make a crisp line.  Then I glued the edges together, leaving an opening for the batting.  Once the batting was in, I just glued the rest of the towel closed.
And we have two super cute pillows for the front porch for under ten dollars.

How fun is that?
