I’m so darn excited about Christmas this year that I can’t hardly wait to get decorating. Canadian Thanksgiving has already passed and the Santa Claus parade has come and gone. I’m working on a whole pile of gifts, crafts, and decorating ideas and you’ll see more of those projects in the weeks to come. I’m also working on some chalkboard printables that I can’t wait to share.
In the meantime I wanted to share all of the fabulous ideas I’ve been pinning and bookmarking that are my inspiration this year.
The front porch from At the Picket Fence has me swooning. Love how elegant it looks with the greenery and gorgeous planters.
I found this porch all done up for Christmas by PBandJ for Home Depot. The attention to detail just blows my mind!
I guess I’m a little obsessed with porches because this one also caught my eye. Adore this porch from Beth over at Homestories A to Z. Love the rockers and how she added the belt to the red pillow case.
What is about trays? I can’t seem to get enough of them and these decoupaged trays from The 36th Avenue are no exception. Don’t they just pop against that blue background?
Tatertots and Jello is one of my favorite blogs and she recently posted this holiday sign that she made. Pretty and simple in gold and white.
More sign love from Plum Adorable. I’m actually hoping to do something similar on my front porch this year.
Yet another sign from Yellow Umbrella. This would look so cute framed in an old thrift store frame. Another project on my list of things to do.
Love Grows Wild made this great deer head pillow by tracing onto burlap with a Sharpie and used a thicker one to color it in. How easy does that sound? I’m slightly obsessed with deer heads so I’m hoping to try painting one on a pillow soon.
I found this pillow on Pinterest by Allisa Jacobs who has some adorable things for sale on Etsy. Soooo cute!
And the wreaths! I love me some wreaths any time of the year but at Christmas I want them to be just a little bit different. Like this pinecone wreath from Vintage Paint and More.
Or how about something made from paint sticks and greenery from the back yard like at Rain on a Tin Roof. Love the shape!
We don’t have a fireplace at our new house which is why this project from Crap I’ve Made (don’t you love that title??) caught my eye on Pinterest.
And now I need to put the laptop away and get out the glue gun! If you pin, don’t forget to pin from the original source. Good manners and all that. Happy crafting, y’all.
