We’ve been in this house for two years already and I’m close to finishing up my master bedroom. No one can accuse me of rushing things. This room is so big and bright and I wanted the details to reflect that. Keep in mind, my last bedroom was in the basement so this was a major upgrade for me.
Here are the things that inspired me as I pulled the room together.
I love white walls in a bedroom so painting the room Snowfall White ( Benjamin Moore) was a no brainer for me. The room was painted before we even moved in. Because it was brown. No. Just no.
I found the accent colors all lined up together in a swatch from Heartones.
I love everything Caitlin Wilson does including all of her throw pillows. Mint, coral, navy, gold…exactly what I want (and can’t afford)! A gal can dream.
I had some navy bedding originally but changed my mind and decided to order a new duvet and cover from Amazon. This is the exact one that I ordered and I love it. It’s a down alternative and when I first opened it I couldn’t believe how light it is but it’s perfect for me all year round.
I heart these Navy lamps from Amazon and I almost ordered them. They were in my cart and everything.
In the end, I just spray painted the ones I had and added some ribbon detailing.
The white curtain panels are from Target. Love white on white. The windows are wide so I bought four panels.
Love this white end table from Amazon for some more white on white gorgeousness.
I also wanted a little desk or work space and this idea from Centsational Girl is kind of the direction I was hoping to go. Just so pretty.
And a ghost chair would be perfect. This one is from Wayfair. Love. A splurge for sure but totally worth it.
I already have the vanity from my last master bathroom and I updated the chair by painting it coral and making a seat cover in navy and white. I love how it pops against all the white.
The master bedroom is just about finished (finally!!) and I can’t wait to show you how it turned out.
