Inspired By You- Weekend Features #4

Happy Weekend!

You may have noticed that I had posted earlier in the week about heading out on vacation today and doing the Alabama BBQ trail. I took the post down because our plans fell through yesterday morning. Very complicated story but hopefully we can try again later in the summer. I’m still craving a road trip and some real BBQ.

The boys are home from daycare this week as we gave notice we’d be on vacation so I’m trying to come up with some fun (and inexpensive) things to do as a family. We bought a bunch of local strawberries yesterday and are planning to try out some new recipes. Check back in during the week to see what kind of mess we’ve made in the kitchen.

On to my favorite posts of the week….Hope you like these as much as I did!

I think everyone who comes here knows I’m tech challenged. Which is why I enjoyed Carmia’s post at Clementine Creative, She gives a great tutorial on How to make a blog header on Picmonkey. She makes it look so easy!

Lemon meringue is my favorite kind of pie! Lemon meringue waffles? Umm, yes!! Thanks, Johlene from Flavors and Frostings for this amazing concoction! So brilliant since crust is my least favorite part of the pie 🙂
